Two-Bit Heroes: Rise of the Runelords
Headmaster of Turandarok Academy
Retired adventurer who volunteered to run the school and orphanage of Turandarok Academy
Ilsoari and Svenrock spent some time on a longship together. They struck up a fast friendship from the adventure. After braving the Catacombs of Wrath, he sought out her aid in identifying the ancient Thassilonian markings the party uncovered. She ushered the group to her makeshift museum in the basement of the academy, called upon the assistance of Chask Haladan and Brogert Quink, and set to work examining the charcoal etchings Svenrock made.
The three scholars explained that the seven-pointed star was the Sihedron Rune, an icon that symbolized the seven virtues of rule of early Thassilon. As the empire declined, the rune became more closely associated with the seven vices, the seven Runelords, and the seven schools of Thassilonian magic.
Svenrock’s description of the statue upon which he found the Sihedron Rune led the scholars to believe that the figure was Alaznist, the Runelord of Wrath.
The party left Erylium’s head with Ilsoari as a grim addition to her collection of artifacts.
